Cobalt Silicate Violet PB73
Though classified by the Color Index as Pigment Blue 73, this rare variant reveals itself as violet, proof that chemical names don’t always match visual reality. Much like PG50, which can appear either green or blue depending on formulation, this version of PB73 leans into the violet spectrum.
A long the way I've come across this pigment and found the deep granulation stunning and absolutely wanted to share it with other artists.
